1. Agreement to Terms These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Find My K-1s website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, authorizing Google access, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description Find My K-1s helps you locate Schedule K-1 tax documents stored in your Gmail account. The Service: - requests read-only Gmail access through Google OAuth; - analyzes email metadata and attachments to surface likely K-1 files; - presents matching results in a dashboard with links back to Gmail; - optionally stores limited telemetry to improve accuracy and reliability. The Service does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice.

3. Eligibility & Accounts You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to form a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided during sign-up and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. If you use an organization’s Google Workspace account, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

4. Acceptable Use You agree not to: - misuse Gmail access or attempt to modify, delete, or send email on behalf of others; - copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the Service; - interfere with security features or access the Service using automated means outside the documented APIs; - upload malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service; - use the Service in violation of applicable laws, including tax, privacy, or data protection laws.

5. Fees & Changes The Service may be offered without charge or with paid tiers. Any fees, billing schedule, and refund policies will be disclosed before charges are incurred. We may change pricing or introduce new charges with reasonable notice.

6. Privacy & Data Use Our processing of personal information is described in the [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy). By using the Service you consent to that processing and warrant that any data you provide may be processed in accordance with those terms.

7. Ownership & Feedback Find My K-1s retains all right, title, and interest in the Service, including all intellectual property rights. Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation.

8. Confidentiality We treat Gmail data accessed through the Service as confidential. We will not disclose that information except to provide the Service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You agree not to disclose non-public information we share with you about our systems or business.

9. Warranties & Availability The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee accuracy of K-1 detection, uninterrupted access, or freedom from errors.

10. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find My K-1s and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amounts you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

11. Indemnification You will defend, indemnify, and hold Find My K-1s, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any laws or third-party rights.

12. Third-Party Services The Service integrates with Google, Supabase, analytics providers, and other third-party services. Their terms govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party content, functionality, or failures.

13. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, present a security risk, or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service and revoke Google access at any time. Sections intended to survive termination (including Sections 6–13) will remain in effect.

14. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising under these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
